We’re pleased to report that a Louisville judge gave a $3.2 million bench verdict to one of our clients in a recent legal malpractice lawsuit.
In a case pending in Jefferson Circuit Court since early 2023, plaintiff Anthony Dunn sued his former lawyer Georgia Hensley and her law firm, alleging that they failed to give him timely notice of his upcoming statute of limitations. Mr. Dunn was badly burned when a vape battery exploded in his pants, sending him to the hospital and causing excruciating pain and suffering. Mr. Dunn hired Alex Davis Law and a partner firm, Baltimore-based Jenner Law, to pursue a malpractice claim against Ms. Hensley in Jefferson Circuit Court.
