The legal team at Alex Davis Law Office has joined the leadership cabinet of Legal Aid Society, a non-profit based in Louisville that provides free services to victims of domestic violence.
Legal Aid is facing a 25–45% funding cut due to a loss of federal government support. A cut of that size would result in the loss of six staff members and reduce services for more than 800 Kentuckians.
“We are proud to support Legal Aid and its mission to help low income residents access our court system and obtain legal services,” the firm’s managing partner Alex Davis said.
Our law firm regularly volunteers with Legal Aid, representing domestic violence victims pro bono in court hearings for protective orders and related matters. If you or a loved one need help with a domestic violence matter, click on this link.
